Acupressure for the Heart Chakra.

✨REN 17 ACUPRESSURE POINT ✨

As we make our way out of our houses and slowly reintegrate into our daily lives over the coming weeks, we may have feelings of uncertainty and anxiety. This is totally normal. We have all been through a traumatic event and our bodies and minds are going to take some time to readjust. Be gentle with yourself. We will adapt to this new way of life in the same way that we adjusted to staying at home these last seven weeks.

If you start to feel anxious or fearful while you are out and about, press on this acupressure point to help calm your nerves:

Acupressure Point: REN 17

📍Location: on the center of the chest, at the level of the fourth rib space, between the two nipples. Another way to find this spot is to go to the meeting point of the ribs and walk your fingers up the center of the chest until you find the tender spot.

✨Routine: use gentle pressure as you make small circles at this point for 30 seconds to a minute. Take deep breaths while you press on this point and notice your energy moving from your head to your feet. ⠀⠀⠀⠀

✨Point Actions: settles the heart, opens the chest and helps to alleviate anxiety and breathing difficulties. It also treats asthma, chest pain, cardiac pain and palpitations, insufficient lactation, hiccups, and lung disease.
