Acupressure Point to Calm the Mind: DU 20.

March 1, 2022 Rachel Appel

Feeling overwhelmed by the state of the world? I want to offer this acupressure practice as a way to help regulate our nervous systems and ground our energy. This will help us to take appropriate action with clear minds and open hearts.

Acupressure Point: DU 20

📍Location: place a finger at the top of each ear and follow an imaginary line upward until your two fingers meet at the crown of your head. You’ll feel a flat, sensitive spot at the location of DU 20.

✨Routine: massage this point in a gentle, circular motion for 1 minute. Take deep breaths and notice your mind relaxing as you regulate your energy with this point. Practice this routine anytime you’re feeling overwhelmed or anxious.

✨This point treats: anxiety, excessive mental activity, depression, headache, sinus congestion, dizziness, tinnitus, brain fog, memory loss, insomnia, prolapse, hemorrhoids, and blurry vision.
