Acupressure Point to Cool the Body & Soothe the Liver.

June 7, 2022 Rachel Appel

As summer approaches and the temperatures start to rise, it is important to keep ourselves cool. This acupressure point clears heat from the body and can help us feel our best on hot summer days.

Acupressure Point: LIVER 2

📍Location: on the top of the foot, between the 1st and 2nd toes, right below the webbing of the toes.

✨Routine: massage this point with strong pressure for 1-2 minutes. Take deep breaths while you press on this point. Notice the heat moving from your head to your feet. You may also feel a sense of calm wash over your body. Switch feet and repeat.

✨This point treats: headache, watery/red/painful eyes, poor vision, difficult or painful urination, fever, insomnia, irregular menstruation, hypertension, and irritability.

Next time you feel overheated and agitated, try this acupressure point for some relief.
