I read this quote on my tea the other day, and it has really stayed with me.
It’s so easy to rush through our days, checking things off the to-do list and forgetting to notice the small, joyful moments in between. This feels especially true as we wrap up the fourth quarter, adjust to darker days, and prepare for the holidays. It’s tempting to “to-do list” our way through the next two months until January 1, when we promise to do things differently.
But what if there was another way, one that allowed us to truly enjoy the dance of life?
Vedic Meditation is a practice that cultivates ease and teaches us how to stay calm in the chaos. It doesn’t prevent stress or emotions from arising, but it allows us to move through the ups and downs with more grace.
In meditation, some days the mind feels stormy, other days serene. By practicing with our eyes closed, we strengthen our ability to stay grounded when uncertainty swirls around us. Over time, we build resilience and adaptability, the ability to move with life rather than resist it. This is what allows us to “dance in the rain” instead of “waiting for the storm to pass.”
If you’d like to learn a simple, transformative practice, to navigate the end of the year with more calm, clarity, and presence, my final Intro to Vedic Meditation Courses of 2025 will be:
