The Lung Meridian.

October 4, 2022 Rachel Appel

Did you know that we have energetic meridians running all over our bodies? These meridians have specific points along them and are also connected to our internal organs. One of these meridians is yin in nature and is connected to the lung organ.

The Lung Meridian:

📍Location: the lung meridian starts on the chest, runs down the inside of the bicep, over the inside of the elbow crease, down the forearm to the inner wrist, over the inside of the thumb, and ends at the lower inner corner of the thumbnail.

✨The Lung Meridian treats: cough, asthma, chest fullness or pain, sinus congestion, shortness of breath, sore throat, common cold, flu, allergies, nosebleed, weak pulse, fatigue, loss of voice, fever, and local pain anywhere along the meridian.

✨Routine: start by taking a few deep breaths to ground yourself, then massage the lung meridian starting on the chest and ending at the thumb. Take a look at the posted photo of the meridian as a guide. Switch arms and repeat. End by placing both hands on your chest, sending your lungs gratitude and love.
