Happy Lunar New Year! Today marks the beginning of the Year of the Rat. The rat is the first of the 12 animals in the Chinese zodiac. In terms of yin and yang, the Rat is yang and represents the beginning of a new day. Rats are clever, quick thinkers and are successful, but content with living a quiet and peaceful life. Rats are also optimistic and energetic. They are sensitive to other’s emotions but can be stubborn. Rats are also a sign of fertility, wealth and abundance. 2020 will have an essence of these qualities and will overall represent a new beginning.
