What is Vedic Meditation?

May 9, 2023 Rachel Appel

What is Vedic Meditation?

A simple mental technique that anyone can learn successfully. It is a mantra-based practice that allows us to effortlessly transcend thought and access a calm inner state of Being. It provides deep rest for the mind and body, allowing us to come back to our true self.

How is it different than other styles of meditation?

  1. No concentration, contemplation, or control

  2. Use of a personalized Vedic Meditation mantra

  3. Easy to integrate into a busy lifestyle

  4. Always taught in person for maximum results

  5. Releases accumulated stress from the body

What are the benefits?

Improves sleep, decreases anxiety, improves health, slows aging, boosts immunity, increases mental potential, improves reaction speeds, increases academic performance, improves relationships, and so much more!

What are the course details and how do I learn?

First, you’ll need to attend a free intro talk on Vedic Meditation. I’ll be hosting them a few times every month. The next one is Wednesday, May 17th, at 7pm MT. Let me know if you’d like to attend and I can send you the zoom link.

After you attend an intro talk and decide to sign up, the course is 4 consecutive days, in person. Each session is about 90 minutes long. After completing the course, you will be a self-sufficient meditator, with a personalized mantra, that you can use for the rest of your life to feel happier, healthier, and more grounded.

I will be teaching mostly in Boulder, CO, but am open to teaching elsewhere if there is enough interest. Please reach out with any questions!
