Hi friends, I hope you all are doing okay and adjusting to this new way of life. I'm sending my love to all of you. I wanted to share this acupressure point with you today because it is the most grounding point on the body. Kidney 1 is the first point on the kidney meridian. In Chinese Medicine Theory, the kidneys represent fear, a state that we have all been in and out of over the last week. Massaging this point will help to calm anxiety, bring the energy out of the head and down to the feet, and help us feel safe during this time of uncertainty.

Location: on the bottom of the foot, 1/3 of the way down, between the second and third toes and right below the ball of the foot. Feel around for a tender spot in this area.

Routine: massage this point with your thumb for one minute while taking deep breaths and envisioning the energy moving from your head down to your feet. Switch sides and repeat. You can do this routine whenever you are feeling overwhelmed or anxious to help you ground.

If you need any support during this time please feel free to reach out. I am here for all of you and hope you are staying safe and well.
