Simple Breathing Exercise to Support your Liver:

1. Sit in a comfortable position.

2. Relax and breathe deeply as you visualize your liver (located underneath your right ribcage).

3. Breathe in fresh, clean, green Qi (vital energy) through your nose.

4. Exhale toxins from your liver through your mouth, as you quietly chant the sound “Shuuu” (the healing sound for the liver).

5. Repeat 9 times. Practice this exercise whenever you are feeling stressed or need to move some energy in your body.

This exercise helps to move Qi, or vital energy, in the body and is especially healing this time of year because spring is associated with the liver.
