Simple Breathing Exercise to Strengthen the Kidneys:

1. Sit in a comfortable position.

2. Relax your body and place your hands on your lower back. Take a few deep breaths and feel your awareness shift to the present moment.

3. Inhale and visualize deep blue energy filling up your kidneys in your lower back area. deep blue and black are the healing colors for the kidneys.

4. On your exhale, make the sound “Woooo”. This is the healing sound for the kidneys.

5. Repeat 9 times. Once you finish the ninth round, relax your hands to your lap and take a few moments of silence, sitting in the essence of the kidney sound.

This exercise helps to release fear from the body and the mind. We can practice this exercise whenever we are feeling fearful, have a sore low back, or want to strengthen our kidneys. This exercise is also something we can practice daily in the winter to stay balanced.
